Scouts and Groups 

We take meaningful and fun experiences for scouts and groups with and without disabilities very seriously, combining adventure with authentic intercultural exchange. Our programs offer outdoor adventures, teamwork activities, team building and team bonding experiences, scenic hikes, adventure trails, engaging fun activities, and even hands-on cooking sessions such as pizza workshops.

These experiences are partially sponsored by our foundation and supported by welcoming host family, all set within the healthy, beautiful natural surroundings of Slovenia. Evenings may on your wish include a cozy musical campfire, Karaoke and the use of the clubhouse with entertainment, outside grill, using one of the musical instruments or borrow one of the kayaks for use on the lake of Slap ob Idrijci. While summer programs offer exciting options such as swimming, rock and bridge jumping, ensuring unforgettable memories for every participant.

Did you know that the world’s oldest known musical instrument was discovered in the village of Šebrelje, just a short distance from Narava Farm and across the well known Pivovarna Zajc (Reka).  At the farm, our social community worker is an experienced guide, former intercultural experienced scout leader in the past, and someone who has been passionately still involved in scouting life for many years. With a big heart for our spring, summer, and autumn projects with many kind of target groups, we and the host family always try to make new adventures and share culture.

We offer intercultural exchange on a voluntary basis, just like all our activities for scouts and groups. In return for an average of only 2.5 hours per day of helping with educational and practical tasks around the farm, scouts and groups can enjoy humble natural accommodation space for their tents and a rich learning experience. Weekends, afternoons, and evenings remain flexible and can be arranged according to your own program. Our projects are meaningful, community oriented and contributing to charity, nature conservation, and the creation of facilities and resources for future scout and groups to enjoy year after year on non-profit basis. 

We offer a complete sponsor program - volunteering package with a minimum stay of 7 days and maximum of 14 days.

We only ask for a small part for the food contribution of €10.00 per person per day only. This covers partly only the three meals, that will all be arranged and freshly prepared for your group. Normally, these costs would be significantly higher. Same that there are no separate or hidden fees for pitching your tents overnight you would normal pay. Thanks to our group arrangements during the summer, sponsorship from Narava Farm (EU Foundation), and the full support of the host family and volunteers, we are able to keep this program affordable with the large sponsored part in it. To help out, we also provide a snack in between and some extra basic drinks. WiFi and electricity will be also offered free of charge and will be on our cost, including during your stay, there will be access for covered charging points during the day for your phones and media devices.

Our goal is for every scout and group to enjoy a wonderful intercultural experience filled with adventure in Slovenia without having the normal high cost for just only pitch their tent without nothing aside. Feel welcome, sharing culture, fun activities, shared cooking, and delicious meals. Groups that can be accepted into our sponsor program for their requested dates, must complete the registration form we will send by email. After the registration and to help out, your group contribute only 50% of the small part of the food contribution by bank. The remaining 50% upon arrival, so that with more financial flexibility and more time to arrange it within your organisation and attendees.
