Welcome to Narava Farm

Nestled in a beautiful valley near Most na Soči, Narava Farm is more than just a family friendly farm in Slovenia—it is a community rooted in kindness, inclusion, and respect. Founded as a non-profit EU foundation, we are dedicated to supporting youth, students, families, single parents, and people with disabilities through social programs, intercultural exchanges, and nature-based activities.

For years, we’ve created meaningful volunteer opportunities for individuals and families from across Europe and beyond.  Not for profit projects within the legacy and compassion, returning to part of our roots with such strong community spirit that already started in the WW2 by the Pirih - Simic family in good friendship. Working from their hearts and love for their citizens to help those in need.  The history from the century old farmhouse and his origins, that if the farm stones could speak, books could be written.

Narava Farm has become with her new life in 2018, a safe and welcoming place for all kind of target groups, where cultures meet, friendships grow, food is shared and nature heals. 

What We Offer

• 🌿Reintegration Through Nature
  Our Reintegration Program supports young people—including those with disabilities or past challenges—with structured, nature-based activities that build confidence and community.

• 🌿Friendly Not For Profit Retreats Outside The Programs
  Budget-friendly non-profit stays include a sponsored warm meal and breakfast for a small contribution fee only. This all from late spring to autumn allow families, single parents, students, scout groups, and digital nomads to reconnect with nature and warm welcome within our cultural community setup. Share a nice campfire evening with us and fun entertainment for all ages, discover the hidden gems and experience the local culture and positive entrepreneurs in our area who will, above all, offer you a warm welcome too.  

• In addition to natural tent pitch spots, we also have a camper stop spot next to the car parking lot that can be used by 2 small or 1 large campervan for the overnight stay, in addition to the terraces and facilities around. We also have a studio room available and in 2026 there will also be a cultural hostel for young people that will also run on a non-profit basis relating to support our local culture and region.   *see our farm tent campsite page*  

• 🌿Programs for Women & Children
  We offer short-term support for women (with or without children), outdoor self-defense classes, and animal-assisted therapy sessions.

• 🌿Community Food Days
  Locals and visitors come together  on reservation to share meals, join outdoor cooking or pizza workshops, and enjoy family activities. Children always participate for free, and adults contribute only a modest contribution fee within the voluntary setup.

• 🌿Activities & Meeting Cultural Point Fly Fishers, Hikers, Cyclists And Motorcyclists
  Swimming and fly fishing in the Idrijca River, hiking in the Soča Valley, kayaking, paragliding at Kobala Point, and more. 
  
  Fly Fishers, Hikers, Cyclists and Motorcyclist can meet with others from in and outside Slovenia at Farm Narava, relax in between their trip at the community area, do minor maintenance on their equipment,  bicycles and Motorcycles and use our tools, air, Wi-Fi and water point. We offer options for a breakfast, lunch,  warm meal and they could use one of the natural tent pitches to overnight with their tent to discover the beautiful  green surroundings.
  
  We offer this options on non-profit basis, to support local and guest fly fishermen's, hikers, cyclists and motorcyclist to meet and greet, share culture and adventures. We also have one of the better fishing spots directly opposite the farm with private parking Contact us by Whatsapp or email to confirm your arrival.

  Sponsored nature retreats for underprivileged families and individuals with disabilities, cultural summer camps for youth, and community service projects for groups.
  
  

Our Vision and Roots

Our story began in 2018, with a return to family roots and a mission to bring new life to an old farm with deep cultural Slovene history. Since then, Narava Farm has grown into a place of learning, healing, and intercultural friendship.

Backed by years of social aid work across Europe—including family welfare programs, animal rescue efforts, experience within many types of world cooking styles in various countries within restaurants and catering services. Gracious past experiences with own technical construction and amusement companies, setting up beautiful community events in Europe for many years, guided tours and transport guidance for youth and disabled people—our foundation has expanded with partnerships to Slovenia, Croatia, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Everywhere, we carry the same values: community, compassion, and connection.

Get Involved

💚Narava Farm exists thanks to the personal financial investments and voluntary efforts by the host family, the generosity of volunteers and supporters. Every donation—whether time, financial, or material—goes directly into our programs and community, with a lot of own investments from the host family to ensure its continued existence.

💚Any form of donations are very welcome that you think we can use, the same we are always happy with construction and building materials, in and outdoor toys, till even pallets and dry wood for the voluntary youth daytime activities and our community campfire evenings.
