At the Narava Social Intercultural Community Farm, we provide a welcoming place for families to relax, step away from daily routines, reconnect with nature, and return to the basics.
For many years we have also offered voluntary family mediation services. These sessions support families facing challenges such as conflicts between parents and children, difficulties with schools or social service organizations, or the strain of a possible separation.
Our goal is to help families find common ground—especially when divorce feels imminent. In many cases, mediation can prevent separation if love and willingness remain, allowing parents to continue raising their children in a stable, united home. Participation is always voluntary and may involve some or all family members as part of the Narava social family program.
Sometimes it is important for a parent—whether alone or with children—to take a short break. This time away can provide clarity, peace of mind, and the chance to heal or make thoughtful decisions in the best interest of both themselves and their children.
In spring and summer, we focus on outdoor activities and connecting with nature.
In winter, we occasionally offer a cozy studio space where families can receive the same support and mediation indoors.
Mediation at Narava is voluntary and structured. In exchange for support, participants contribute a few hours each day helping on the farm or in a local community project (weekends excluded). This hands-on approach:
Creates a daily rhythm and sense of purpose.
Provides satisfaction through meaningful work.
Strengthens the community by supporting others who rely on our social programs.
Some families who come to Narava are already separated or in the process of divorce. Even then, mediation can help parents find balance, improve co-parenting, and create a healthier environment for children. While our hope is always that parents stay together, we also recognize that sometimes separation is necessary—and that personal happiness matters for both adults and children.
With a one-time contribution of €50 to our non-profit organization, participants receive:
Three daily meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Drinks such as coffee, tea, fresh mountain water, and fruit syrup.
Occasional evening refreshments, with the option to buy additional provisions at local supermarkets.
Additional amenities include:
Local restaurants, rivers, and lakes in surrounding villages.
An on-site pizza & grill kiosk.
A small clubhouse with bar, music, and Wi-Fi.
Regular evening campfires with a large seating area.
Outdoor play areas for children.
Minimum participation: 7 days (longer stays possible by agreement).
